It may be early in the season, but the Phoenix Suns' tagline reflects what the team needs to do. Now.
When you looked at the first seven games on the schedule, you can't say that you'd think the Suns would be sitting at 5-2. If you did, then you should have put your money where your mouth is...I am sure Vegas was giving at least +2500 odds on it. 4 of our first 5 games were against teams that experts had slotted in the playoffs this year, one of which (the Los Angeles Clippers) many have picked to win it all. Add two scrappy Western Conference foes in the Kings and the Grizz, and one undefeated Eastern Conference favorite in the Sixers, and the mountain seemed to hard to climb. But here we sit, 5-2.
And now it is time to rise, Phoenix.
It is not often you are gifted an early season 6-game home stand. Couple that with the hot start,
and the Suns need to TCOB right about now. Aside from the hated Lakers, the foes faced will all be Eastern Conference teams on their only West Coast swing this season. It is time to take advantage. The stars have aligned. Will our new look Phoenix Suns step up to the plate?
